A Brief Overview 
Egglescliffe is a village and civil parish which for ceremonial purposes is in County Durham, England. Administratively it is located in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. The village sits on top of a hill both overlooking and across the River Tees from Yarm.
Egglescliffe Parish Hall is owned by St John's Parish Church, which  has been a place of worship since the eleventh century. It is leased and managed by a volunteer committee comprised of local residents' along with some of the hall's regular users. ​
